Introduction Sardinian Product
IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) red Isola dei Nuraghi from Selegas-Piscina Trigus coutryside, about 230 metres above sea level. The soil is a medium mixture of limneston, some pebbles and stones, looserocky layers. The grape varieties is a mix of Bovale Sardo or Bovaleddu, Carignano, Cannonau and Malvasia Nera. The vinification technique is painstaking selection of the grapes. Fermentation at controlled temperature 28-
32°C. Maceration for about 16-18 days with good use of the delestage technique. Aging for 18-24 months in new French oak barriques and refining for 12-14 months in the bottle.
